Taking a screenshot can be helpful when describing your question or issue to our team. These are the steps for taking a screenshot for Mac or PC users.

For Mac Users
Take a screenshot of your entire screen -
On your keyboard, press the following keys: Command (β) + Shift + 3
Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop
Take a screenshot of a selected portion of your screen -
On your keyboard press: Command (β) + Shift + 4
You'll notice the pointer will change to a crosshair
Move the crosshair to where you want to start the screenshot, then click and drag to select an area.
When you've selected the area you want, release your mouse or trackpad button. To cancel, press the Esc (Escape) key before you release the button
Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop
For PC (Windows) Users
Method 1 - Using the Windows Key + Print Screen Key
Press the Windows key + Print Screen key (usually abbreviated as PrtSc or PrtScn) at the same time
The screen will dim to show that a screenshot has been taken
Your screenshot can be located in the Screenshots folder within your Pictures folder on your computer
Method 2 - Using the Print Screen Key
Find and press the Print Screen button (usually this is abbreviated as PrtSc or PrtScn). This screenshot will be placed in your clipboard
Next, open an image editing program like Microsoft Paint. Paste the image into the program by either going to the Edit menu and clicking Paste, or clicking Ctrl+V
Go to the File menu. Choose Save As, and save the image to a folder or your desktop.
Method 3 - Using the Snipping Tool
In the search bar, search for the Snipping Tool, and click on the app
Select New to take a new screenshot
Select the area of the screen you want to screenshot
Click Ctrl + S or click the Save As icon in the top right corner
Edit the File Name and select the correct folder
Click Save
Upload Your Screenshot to Our Team
In your chat, click the paper clip icon
Choose your file, and click Open to upload the file
