ACH transactions are electronic payments donors can use to transfer money directly from their bank account. Some donors prefer this option to paying with a credit card or check.
Before you proceed, please be aware that ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions are unique because they always show as Completed in GivingFuel, even when they aren't successful. This occurs because ACH transactions can take up to 14 days to clear the various banks that process them, so they always send a Completed status.
Pro Tip: The best practice when providing ACH Payments as an option to donors is to regularly monitor the payment processor to ensure that any ACH transfer attempts are cleared by the banks.

How do I issue a refund or change the status on my ACH donation?
To issue a refund or change the status on your ACH donation, click here.
Why isn't ACH an available option on my live page when I have enabled this option?
A common reason that ACH isn't appearing as an available option on a published page when this option has been enabled is that the page isn't connected to an ACH payment processor. Please go here to confirm that your GivingFuel page is connected to an ACH processor.
Can I accept credit card donations and ACH donations on one GivingFuel page?
Yes, organizations can give donors the ability to donate via credit card or ACH. To give donors the option to choose to donate via credit card or ACH, users must connect their GivingFuel page to both a credit card processor and an ACH processor. These payment processors must be added individually to your GivingFuel page.
NOTE: ACH is not available just yet with Webconnex Payments (but is coming soon!) In the meantime, we recommend going through Cornerstone (NMI) or Authorize.net to be able to process ACH.
