On GivingFuel, donors are directed to a confirmation page after submitting their donation. This article walks through how you can edit and customize this confirmation page donors will see.

Jump To...

Show a Pop-Up Field

  • From the Pages tab on the top main menu, click the pencil icon under the page you would like to edit

  • Click the Confirmation Page tab from the top menu bar

  • To show a pop-up on your confirmation page, select the Show Pop-Up checkbox. Deselect this checkbox to disable the option

  • To edit the pop-up, click the Edit Pop-up Dropdown

  • Select Share and Like Buttons or Custom Confirmation Pop-up Message

    • If Share and Like Buttons is selected, GivingFuel donors will see a pop-up asking them to share and like their donation page on Facebook and Twitter. Your organization can adjust the Title and Subtitle in the corresponding text fields

    • If Custom Confirmation Pop-up Message is selected, your organization can create a message in the pop-up for your donors. Adjust the width of the pop-up message by adjusting the width in the toggle bar. Create your custom message in the text box field

  • Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

NOTE: The pop-up will not appear when submitting orders in Preview Mode. This is so that the Preview URL is not accidentally shared to social media.

Edit the Confirmation Message

  • From the Pages tab on the top main menu, click the pencil icon under the page you would like to edit

  • Click the Confirmation Page tab

  • Edit the Confirmation Page text in the text box with any information your organization would like

NOTE: By default, the confirmation page includes the fields ##registrants ##billing. ##Registrants pulls in a summary of the donation, and ##billing pulls in the billing details.

Your organization can delete one or the other of these fields as desired. Just note, if you delete both fields, they will auto-add back in.

Additional Settings

  • On the Confirmation Page tab, Click the Additional Options button

  • Customize the Options as you would like

    • When checked, the Show Tax Deductible Values checkbox shows the total tax deductible value under the Total on the Confirmation page. By default, this field is turned on

    • If your GivingFuel page has an event start date, the Show Apple Wallet checkbox allows donors to easily add their confirmation to their Apple Wallet app on their iPhone if desired

    • If your GivingFuel page has an event start date, the Show Add to Calendar checkbox allows donors to add the event to their calendar

    • When checked, the Promote Another Page feature allows you to create a button on your confirmation page that links to another webpage

    • When checked, the Automatically redirect to another website feature allows you to automatically redirect your donors to another website. When checked, donors will automatically be sent to the website you add after 5 seconds

FAQs

How can I test how the Confirmation Page looks to my donors?

We recommend using the Preview mode to test how your confirmation page will appear to your donors. To test using the preview mode, click the Preview button in the top right corner of your GivingFuel Edit page. NOTE: Preview mode will not display the confirmation Pop Up if you have it enabled. This is because we don't want anyone accidentally sharing the Preview URL to social media.

The Preview mode launches a test page in a new tab, and doesn't store any data or process any real donations. For this reason, it is a great way to test the visual experience of your page. Testing through preview mode will display the confirmation page as well as confirmation emails if these are turned on.
