There are two primary ways to stop a recurring donation in GivingFuel! If you have full user permissions, we recommend using the Contacts tab to stop donors' recurring donations. This allows you to easily view and stop all active recurring donations the donor might have.
If you have limited user permissions, we recommend going to the Donors tab to stop recurring donations.
Stop a Recurring Donation From...
Stop a Recurring Donation from the Contacts tab
From the top menu bar, select the Contacts tab
Search for the donor's name or billing email in the search box
Click the eye icon next to the donation you want to stop
Click the Recurring Donations tab on the left-hand side
Click the pencil icon next to the recurring donation you would like to stop
On the Payments option click the green toggle to change it from Enabled to Disabled (it will turn grey)
Select Save
Stop a Recurring Donation from the Donations tab
From the top menu bar, select the Contacts tab
Select the Recurring tab to the left of the search box
Search for the donor's name or billing email in the search box
Click the pencil icon next to the donation you want to stop
Disable the Payments option by clicking the green toggle which will switch it to grey (disabled)
Select Save
